Newroz-Nevruz-Yenigün İnstallation | 2005

“Newroz-Yenigün-Nevruz”, which is the first day of both spring and the new year for many Central Asian and Middle Eastren cultures, is also the vernal equinox…The day when the cold winters end;warm days begin;nature awakens,March 21st

“Newroz-Yenigün-Nevruz”, the day of peace…

The Artistic concept of the “Newroz-Yenigün-Nevroz”exhibition is the new day.

Here me,Barış Seyitvan, tried to bring together the thoughts of the peoples living in Diyarbakır and at the exhibition moment, who cannot articulate their thoughts about Newroz, via giving them a pieces of papers which he cut into pieces like a puzzle.
